This week was an awesome week. We’ve got plenty of proof with all the news you may have missed. This post also contains two pictures of archers. Not our fault.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

∴ Netflix has been stepping up its original content as of late, with many of its shows being highly successful. In a fairytale come true, the streaming giant announced it is in the early development stages for a Legend of Zelda live-action series. It is said to be a mix of Game of Thrones style action, but family friendly.

∴ LEGO is full of treats this year; the latest is bringing us a Doctor Who set. The set is inspired by Andrew Clark’s suggestion, so we can imagine it will look something like these models he built. Grab your screwdrivers because we are taking time and space:

∴ Discovery Times Square is getting a new resident come July 1, 2015. The Hunger Games: The Exhibition will bring fans into the world of Panem. Hopefully not close enough that you will be the next tribute.

∴ Potterheads have something to look forward to again: the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has been given a release date. JK Rowling’s spinoff series follows Newt Scamander in New York in the 20th century. Clear your calendars for November 18, 2015.

∴ Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. teased us this week with a new promo for its midseason return. The series will be back on March 3, and it is assumed to pick up right where it left off, discovering new Inhumans and expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

∴ Coming to ABC’s summer roster is a reality reboot of Battlebots. We’re really not kidding on this one. From 2000 to 2002 Battlebots graced our small screens with robot on robot wrestling matches. This summer the bots will be back at it again in a six-part series. Technology has advanced since the turn of the century so we’re eager to see what new ways of destructions these Battlebots will display. No word yet if Bill Nye is attached to the series!
