Tim Curry Coming to London Comic Con
March 29, 2019London Comic Con presented by Start.ca is proud to announce that legendary actor Tim Curry will be headlining the 6th annual pop culture celebration.
Tim Curry is an iconic figure in pop culture, hands down. The seasoned actor has portrayed dozens of characters in a wide variety of genres and with each one he adds his own unique charisma that makes him unforgettable.
Tim Curry is widely known as Frank-N-Furter from the cult classic film version of the Rocky Horror Picture Show which was released in 1975. From there he brought us unforgettable performances such as the beast Darkness in the movie Legend that starred a young Tom Cruise and further terrified us as Pennywise the Dancing Clown in Stephen King mini-series It. Curry also made us laugh until it hurt in movies Home Alone 2 where he was the hilarious Hotel Manager out to stop Kevin’s fun and not to forget his role in the Muppet’s Treasure Island movie as Long John Silver.
‘Tim Curry’s contribution to the entertainment industry is huge, spanning generations. Rocky Horror came out in 1975 but it is still screened in movie theatres around the world every single year. His Frank-n-Furter character is iconic, even teenagers today know that.’ said Andrew Kitt, president of London Comic Con, adding ‘Tim Curry was quick to agree to come to London, he is eager to meet his fans in Canada and is already inquiring on cool things to do while he is here, we are super excited to have him.’
Tim Curry will be at London Comic Con Oct 5th and 6th where he will meet with fans for intimate photo opportunities as well as autograph signing.
