The Devil Gets His Due – New Daredevil Born Again trailer drops

“I will admit it’s not entirely unpleasant to see you again,” says Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) sitting across from Charlie Cox in the opening of the new Daredevil: Born Again trailer.

The new trailer gives us our first look at the return of Foggy and Karen (Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll, respectively) and offers a look into the action sequences from the new show. They look brutal. And glorious. I have to assume it’s going to be rated MA, ’cause there is a lot of blood.

It’s hard to describe the new footage as anything but gritty, though that word is overused in the context of film and TV these days.

Daredevil: Born Again is one of the most-anticipated genre shows in a long time. It has the potential redefine what Marvel television is all about: and that’s a good thing, for everyone.

I’m happy I was right about Fisk being elected to something, though.
