Teach Grant is among the growing number of Canadian actors to grace both our big and small in the upcoming year. With a total of four projects releasing within the next couple of months, we had the chance to speak with him for our podcast on his upcoming roles and his involvement with series such as The Flash and Lucifer.

In our fourth podcast, we catch up with the actor to discuss how he made his way into the film and television industry.

Premiering at the Vancouver International Film Festival, Grant’s latest film, Once There Was a Winter, displays him in the role of Welder. The film takes place during an intense night during the Canadian winter.

USA’s Damnation premieres on October 17 and is set in the Midwestern 1930s and is helmed by the producers of Longmire, Game of Thrones, Logan and Office Space.

Coming on October 5 is the second season of SyFy’s Van Helsing. The show is based around the titular characters daughter Vanessa. Grant’s character will be featured later in the season.

Netflix’s Altered Carbon, based on Richard Morgan’s 2002 cyberpunk sci-fi novel of the same name premieres in February. Grant plays Jimmy DeSoto.
