Our Geeky Weekly will be brought you each weekend with the news you may have missed.

∴ While Tom Hardy dropped out of DC’s Suicide Squad project last week, Jake Gyllenhaal was rumored to be next up in the role. The Nightcrawler star reportedly passed on the Rick Flag role freeing it up.

∴ In other casting news, it is rumored that Marvel has casted Chiwetel Ejiofor in an unannounced role for Doctor Strange. If casted, the 12 Years A Slave star will star alongside fellow Brit Benedict Cumberbatch.

∴ The REACT Youtube channel released its latest gem this week; elders playing Grand Theft Auto V. Let us see how violent those grannies and grandpa’s can get:

∴ Japan has a new Attack on Titan theme park, sort of. The Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka unveiled larger than life titan statues. Check them out:

∴ The next season of Sherlock, which will probably be released in about fourteen years, filmed in Gloucester this week. The widely popular BBC series has been seen filming all over England as of late, and the characters are in 19th century costume. Benedict Cumberbatch has never looked more Sherlockian before.
