Snail Bob

You probably haven’t heard of the Snail Bob series, and that’s a shame. It’s a cute little mobile/browser game that is fun for gamers in all age groups and from all walks of life. Fortunately, with the 9th iteration of this quirky little puzzler there’s a lot to catch up on.

If you’re looking for a good gaming comparison for Snail Bob 9, I’d say it’s like a cross between Lemmings and Worms. You play as a snail named Bob whose home was destroyed by construction. Your job is to get Bob through a series of obstacles in each level, which you can do by activating one of Bob’s gadgets at the right moment.

The levels are set-up to increase in difficulty the further you advance, adding added challenges and obstacles for you to overcome. As you progress, you’ll also be treated to changes in scenery, which will also bring about changes in Bob’s attire as well as the obstacles and enemies you’ll face. This all helps to keep things fresh and will also serve to test your puzzle skills if you give Snail Bob 9 the time to ramp up.

Snail BobBeyond the gameplay, there’s a story to Snail Bob 9, and while it’s nothing earth-shattering to start, it’ll serve as motivation the further you advance to the point that you’ll become anxious to know how it all ends for Bob the snail.

Snail Bob 9 is definitely in the category of “addicting-on-the-go-puzzlers” and should suit people of all ages who’re looking for a fun browser game to test their creative problem-solving mettle. I personally believe that this is a fun game that parents can play with their kids. It’s fun, vibrant, and lacking any sort of violence. It can be used not only as a way to bond with your kids over games, but also to improve observational and learning comprehension. It’s a gaming win-win-win!

There’s currently no release date for Snail Bob 9. Keep an eye on the game’s main page for news and updates as it’ll soon be coming to a browser near you.
