First Look at Daredevil’s Punisher and Elektra

Following their new Doctor Strange photos, Entertainment Weekly released some new images from the upcoming season of Marvel and Netflix‘s Daredevil. We have our first official look at The Walking Dead star John Bernthal as Frank Castle aka The Punisher, a gun-toting former army man turned vigilante who is known to use lethal force among his crime-fighting methods. We also get a glimpse of Élodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) as violent mercenary Elektra, giving Daredevil two new antiheroes to deal with in Hell’s Kitchen. Add to that some potential romance between Matt Murdock and Karen Page while his old college girlfriend (Elektra) is in town – seems like both of Matt’s personas will have their hands full this season.

Fans can expect Daredevil Season 2 to hit the ground running and jump right into the action on Netflix sometime in 2016.
