If you are a fan of Hearthstone and want to get in on the ground floor of a new collectible card game, you have to check out this Kickstarter.

Fed up with the way that developers seemingly didn’t have a clue about how changes and and new content affected gameplay in collectible card games, game designer Daniel Sloan set to the drawing board to create a game himself that is for gamers, created by a gamer that shares many of the same woes.

DemiGod Wars aims to change a players experience in the collectible card gaming realm where not only does Sloan’s creation address changes and content, but highlights other issues that players have had with this type of game. In fact, the opinion of players is so important to Sloan that everyone that makes a Kickstarter donation of $25 and over will receive a login to to Wrike, the product management tool, where contributors can see all the development happening before their eyes and will have the ability to comment and make suggestions.

Another issue that Sloan aims to address in DemiGod Wars is the free to play option. Too often he found that in a mere fifteen minutes of playing a game, he would run out of energy and the only option would be to purchase energy, which many gamers aren’t prepared to do, and if they are, they want it at an affordable price tag. Sloan wants to ensure that players can still be competitive without spending the cash, but if they are willing, the cost is as low as .99c to obtain points to level up and better cards.

But what would a great collectible card game be without an incredible backstory? You can read up on the origins of these DemiGods and Titans and get all the information you wanted to know.

With 29 days still left to go, Sloan hopes to raise $75,000 for DemiGod Wars and make the game available on PC, MAC and in the app store as well for smartphones. You can view the Kickstarter here and make a donation if you’d like to see this project come to life, or even be a part of it. Crowdfunding campaigns also work well with support of those sharing the links on Facebook, Twitter and more, so if you can’t give a monetary donation, show Sloan your support by shouting out his project on social media.
