Stuart Immonen Announced as Marvel’s New Star Wars Artist

Marvel and Lucasfilm Ltd. were excited to announce today that Stuart Immonen (All New X-Men, All New Captain America) as the new series artist for Star Wars. Immonen will be joining writer Jason Aaron to continue the popular comic series this July.

This July when Star Wars #8 premieres, Immonen journeys to a galaxy far, far away for the continuing adventures of some of fiction’s most beloved characters! If you can’t wait, don’t worry, we have a (not-final) first look at Immonen’s pencil work for the cover of Star Wars #8.

The historic return of Star Wars to the House of Ideas continues this July as the can’t miss creative team of Jason Aaron and Stuart Immonen put their epic stamp on the world of Luke, Han, Leia, Chewbacca and the Droids! A bold new beginning is coming – so don’t miss the second arc of the series that has the world talking!

This will be the first time Immonen has taken the step into the Star Wars world.
