XBox One: Release Day Information
September 10, 2013 1 By MarcXBO is almost here, come take a look at what you can get day one.
The new console from Microsoft is going to be here any day and there will be a big divide between those who will buy the Xbox and those who will get the PS4. Or if you have money to spare you will get both and a pony the day it comes out. Regardless, here is some of the information that you will need to know for day one.
The release date of the console is November 22nd in North America, set at a price of $499. The $499 price tag will get gamers the console, kinect, a controller, hookups and a headset. Originally it was rumored that there would be no headset with the box, but Microsoft smashed that rumor and advised that yes there would be. GameStop will be offering select bundles with certain launch titles, these are expected to quickly sell out since the generic console does not come with any games.
As far as games go, launch day games will be as follow;
Assassins Creed 4, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Crimson Dragon, Dead Rising 3, Fifa 14, Fighter Within, Forza 5, Just Dace 2014, Killer Instinct, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, LocoCycle, Madden 25, NBA 2K14, NBA Live 14, Need for Speed:Rivals, Peggle 2, Powerstar Golf, Ryse:Son of Rome, Skylanders:Swap Force, Watch Dogs, Zoo Tycoon, Zumba Fitness: World Party.
This will be Microsofts MOST EXPENSIVE release for a console ever. This does not bode well for the release of the console considering all the controversy surrounding it during E3 and how they have attempted to tailspin and change they mind on every horrible thing they were planning for the console. Regardless though people will buy this because they have to have it, and will shell out whatever dollar that is expected from them.
To make you feel better you can always count yourself lucky that you didnt shell out the 14,100.oo price tag on e-bay for the Xbox One dev kit last month.
Let us know on Facebook or here, will you be there launch day to get your Xbox One?
