The Last of Us returns this April

It’s been more than a year since we last saw Joel and Ellie in that hospital…and now we know when we’ll see them again: April.

The news was announced at Today’s Consumer Electronics Show (during the Sony press conference, obv), and they confirmed the show would once again be available to stream on Max.

Set five years after the end of season one, Joel and Ellie are going to face some interpersonal conflict…while the world descends into chaos around them. Pedro Pascal returns as Joel, and Bella Ramsey returns as Ellie. Kaitlyn Dever joins the cast as Abby, one of the most divisive characters in the franchise. Love her, or hate her, she’s playing a big part in the teaser at the very least.
