July 11, 2019Although there is still no release date yet for Star Trek: Picard, anticipation for the series is growing steadily, and that is sure to increase with San Diego Comic-Con just around the corner.
Patrick Stewart released this new picture himself online, giving fans another quick glimpse at what to expect visually in the show. More vineyards, an incredible sunset, and a dog highlight the visually stunning poster.
Star Trek: Picard comes from executive producer Alex Kurtzman, writers Akiva Goldsman, Heather Kadin, and Michael Chabon, and is rumored to be set around 20 years after the end of Star Trek: The Next Generation. The cast around Stewart includes Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, and Michelle Hurd. Hanelle Culpepper, who has worked on Star Trek: Discovery, will direct the first two episodes while Stewart’s old TNG castmate Jonathan Frakes will also be involved during the first run.
