Things have sure changed for Shudder. Once a small platform that kind of flew under the radar, Shudder has become a force to be reckoned with in the streaming world. It has beefed up its lineup with some great original horror content this year and has now entered the podcast arena with a trio of shows with some very recognizable names: Eli Roth, Adrienne Barbeau, and Elijah Wood.

First up we have Eli Roth’s History of Horror: Uncut, kind of an expansion of his show on AMC, History of Horror. Then we have She Kills, a podcast by and about women in the horror genre, hosted by Adrienne Barbeau. Finally, there is Visitations with Elijah Wood and Daniel Noah, which will see the duo sit down with some of the most creative, not to mention biggest movers and shakers in the industry, in their own homes.

Needless to say, Craig Engler, Shudder’s General Manager, is ecstatic about these new additions. “We’re thrilled to be working with amazing talents like Eli Roth, Adrienne Barbeau, Elijah Wood, and Daniel Noah, who have assembled an unprecedented collection of horror creators for this slate of podcasts,” said Craig. “They’ll be exploring timely topics, unpacking the history of the genre and pointing the way to its future by talking to the people who made horror it what it is today.”

She Kills premieres March 1st, followed by Eli Roth’s History of Horror: Uncut on March 22nd. Visitations with Elijah Wood and Daniel Noah will drop sometime in the spring.
