A lot of comics are being optioned into movie these days which is great to see. It always leads some people to believe that the medium of comics is dead but even if you are going to see a comic book movie in the near future, reading the comic will give you a richer experience. So if you are going to pick up the Days of Future Past comics after seeing the film, don’t forget to check On the Rack to see what’s new this week.

This series will explore both the past and the present of this clandestine tribe, unleashing new secrets and horrors as they fight to coexist with mankind.”

DC Comics

Nightwing #30

Usually I like to tell you of promising new titles that are just launching but in this case the Nightwing series is coming to an end with this issue. It may be the end of Nightwing himself.

“The Bat Family is forced to face the brutal aftermath of FOREVER EVIL, but after everything they’ve been through, can they stand together?”

And they did nothing, standing on the surface of the Earth like trees, exerting their silent pressure on the world, as if there were no-one here and nothing under foot. Ten years since we learned that there is intelligent life in the universe, but that they did not recognize us as intelligent or alive.”

A lot of people don’t like The Thunderbolts because of the ever changing team members but if you have ever wanted to see Punisher, Deadpool and Ghost Rider on the same team then you can’t miss with this comic.
