Nightwing: The Series – New Trailer

 
Back in January of 2013, Danny Shepherd and his team at Ismahawk set forth to crowd fund a campaign via Kickstarter that would transform their one-shot Nightwing fan film into an entire miniseries. On February 3rd, with the support of faithful 923 backers, their goal of $20,000 was surpassed (by 15K!) and the Nightwing project was born.

The new sixty-second trailer (above) hit the web earlier this month and for a fan film it looks pretty impressive. Filming for the 4-part miniseries is nearly complete and is expected to run 40-45 minutes in total.

Nightwing: The Series centers around Batman’s first sidekick, Dick Grayson aka Robin. After a falling out with his mentor, Dick disappears from Gotham eventually resurfacing in the City of Bludhaven under the guise of “Nightwing”. Dick has chosen to stand alone against a new threat that emerges in his city. Can he defend the city and the lives of it’s inhabitants alone? Only time will tell in this epic mini-series!
