Warner Bros. Games Montreal is taking over the reins instead of Rocksteady Studios who made the previous two Arkham games. Though, Warner Bros. has full access to Rocksteady’s custom modified Unreal engine to ensure they capture the look and feel that is familiar to the Arkhamverse.

As title of the game Arkham: Origins suggests, the storyline takes place years before the previous two Arkham titles and is based around a much younger Batman who is encountering many of Gotham’s most evil for the first time. We will be seeing eight of the best assassins that Batman has never faced off against take him on in Gotham on Christmas Eve of all nights. This months Game Informer reveals the first assassin to be Deathstroke, one of the main antagonists of the game. This will mark the first time that the character Deathstroke has made an appearance in any Arkham game.
