Harold Ramis Passes at Age 69February 24, 2014
One of our favorite actors and Ghostbuster has passed away at the age of 69.
Harold Ramis was an amazing actor, comedian and writer that gave us some of the best films ever made. Ramis was best known as Egon Spengler from Ghostbusters, but also has his name on other well known movies such as Caddyshack, Airheads, and my personal favorite, Stripes. Harold Ramis also holds a special place in the hearts of all Canadians as a longtime member of SCTV as one of their head writers. He also wrote for the Ghostbusters cartoon in the 90’s as well as writing everyone’s favorite college movie, Animal House.
Ramis died from a rare disease called autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, which involves swelling of the blood vessels.
This is a huge loss for all of his fans as well as his family and friends who will miss him greatly.
