HARLEY QUINN: A VERY PROBLEMATIC VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL – review
February 10, 2023Love is in the air.
Literally.
It’s Valentine’s Day and Gotham’s villains and heroes are feeling the romance.
And that’s where we begin with HARLEY QUINN: A VERY PROBLEMATIC VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL. Based on characters from DC, this holiday special for the critically acclaimed HBO MAX Original series Harley Quinn brings love to the masses.
It is a madcap 45-minute romp through Gotham City as Harley goes to obsessive lengths to make sure her first Valentine’s Day with Ivy is the best ever, Bane’s efforts to impress an unexpected date go awry, and Clayface engages in some-self love.
Some of these stories are larger than life.
Featuring Cameos from many of DC’s best-known characters, HARLEY QUINN: A VERY PROBLEMATIC VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL is fun from start to finish.
Assuming you’re an adult.
Because like Harley Quinn, the PROBLEMATIC VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL is not for kids.
Unless you want your kids to have a lot of questions. And even then, best to keep the parental locks well-tightened for this one.
Featuring many of the voices fans have come to love including Kaley Cuoco as Harley, Lake Bell as Ivy, Alan Tudyk as Clayface, HARLEY QUINN: A VERY PROBLEMATIC VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL satisfies.
It’s a special well worth the price of admission – which, if you have Adult Swim or STACKTV in Canada, or HBO MAX in the United States, is nothing.
HARLEY QUINN: A VERY PROBLEMATIC VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL premieres Friday, February 10th at 12:30 am ET on Adult Swim (in Canada) and on STACKTV.
The words in this review were chosen purposefully. It’ll all make sense once you go on your date with Harley and friends.
