First Look at Gotham’s Logo & Commissioner Gordon

Fox has updated the website for their upcoming DC series, Gotham, with a fancy new logo that features the dramatic silhouette of the city’s skyline against the water, appropriately suited for both the procedural crime theme and that dramatic Batman style.

The logo comes just in time for the reveal of the first photos from the set featuring Ben McKenzie (of Southland and The O.C. fame) as the young Commissioner Gordon. If you find yourself wondering why he was considered for the role, McKenzie supplied the voice of Bruce Wayne himself in Batman: Year One. But going from millionaire vigilante to do-good detective could prove to be challenging.
