National Lampoon’s Vacation to get Reboot Starring Ed Helms

National Lampoon’s classic ‘Vacation’ series is one of the newest film series to be getting a fresh reboot, care of New Line Cinemas (Warner Bros.); written and directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.

The new version of the classic comedy will bring back the Griswold Family for more misadventures. The new ‘Vacation’ movie will follow Rusty Griswold (Helms), son of Clark Griswold who is all grown up with a family of his own and setting out on the road for their own adventure.

Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo return to their well know roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold. Also said to star in the reboot is Christina Applegate, Charlie Day and Chris Hemsworth.

Let’s hope Rusty is taking his new family to Walley World! (and that it’s open this time)
