Malcolm in the Middle reunion coming to Disney+

It’s been 25 years since Malcolm in the Middle debuted, and that lovable kid and his wacky family are coming back to the small screen in a 4-episode Disney+ reunion series.

Frankie Muniz, Brian Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek are all scheduled to return as Malcom, Hal, and Lois, but no word on whether Christopher Masterson will return as Francis, Justin Berfield will return as Reese, or Erik Per Sullivan returns as Dewey.

Of course you need Malcolm, Lois, and Hal, but if you can’t pull together the rest of the family, it seems like the show won’t be as impactful. After all, Malcolm in the Middle was about a dysfunctional family that loves each other deeply.

Deadline reports that series creator Linwood Boomer returns to pen the new episodes as well.

The new episodes will see Malcolm and his daughter get drawn into the family’s chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party, according to THEWRAP.
