Joseph Gordon-Levitt Joins “Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For”

Just announced by Dimension Films, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be joining to cast of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, set to be released in theatres October 4th, 2013.

Gordon-Levitt joins already announced cast members Jessica Alba as “Nancy Callahan”, Mickey Rourke as “Marv”, Jamie Chung as “Miho”, Rosario Dawson as “Gail”, Clive Owen as “Dwight McCarthy” and Jamie King as “Wendy”. Gordon-Levitt will be playing a new character by the name of “Johnny”, whose significance in the storyline has not been revealed.

The second installment in the Sin City franchise, A Dame to Kill For, is based on Frank Miller’s classic graphic novel by the same name, and some short stories, as well as An Unshelved Nancy Story that Miller completed for the movie after it’s original creation ten years ago. The script was written by both Miller and William Monahan.

Production is currently underway at Robert Rodriguez’s studio in Austin, Texas.
