AMC and The Walking Dead pay tribute to one of their fallen. SPOILER ALERT for the mid-season finale.

I know a lot of you probably came here expecting this video to be about Hershel, but as you can see, it’s about the man that so coldly took Hershel from us. The Governor, a key point in the past season to date, was by all accounts a ruthless psychopath that met his end during the mid-season finale. The video includes a look back at the Governor and interviews with the cast and crew, including David Morrissey, the man who brought the Governor to life.

The Walking Dead will return to AMC on February 9, 2014.
