Viola Davis Reportedly Cast as Amanda Waller

According to Latino Review, Viola Davis has been cast as Amanda Waller in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. While it was rumoured a few weeks ago that Oprah Winfrey and Octavia Spencer were being considered, Viola Davis was also a top choice among many fans. Waller is a cold, no-nonsense government agent in charge of the Suicide Squad, and Davis could bring just the power this character needs to make her a reality. Don’t get your hopes up too much though. Apparently the role will depend on if they can work everything out around Davis’ TV schedule, as she’s currently starring as Annalise Keating in How To Get Away With Murder.
