Roundtable Interviews with the Cast of Defiance

On Saturday at Fan Expo in Toronto, we caught up with the cast of the hit television show, Defiance.

Set in the year 2046, Earth has been radically transformed, causing changes in topography, the extinction of plant and animal species, and the emergence of new species. The series follows Joshua Nolan (Grant Bowler) and his adopted Irathient daughter Irisa (Stephanie Leonidas), who have put down roots in Defiance, a city-state community where humans and several extraterrestrial races, collectively known as Votans, coexist over the ruins of St. Louis.

While the show is still relatively new, the recognizable names in the cast helped draw quick attention to the show which premiered on SyFy in the US and Showcase in Canada on the same day, April 15th, 2013. Filmed in Toronto, Defiance was quickly given a second season green light which has recently been shooting and is set to begin airing in June, 2014.
