On The Rack – March 5, 2014
March 4, 2014Welcome to another action packed week of On The Rack. Last week we had a flood of titles and this week doesn’t let up with more great titles hitting the shelves tomorrow, including Robot Chicken Variants. I had a chance to pick up Walking Dead last week and was not disappointed with where this war is going. Any guesses on who’s going to survive All Out War? I have my theories and would be happy to discuss them with you guys in the comments below.
The Trial of Jean Grey took a great twist over the last two issues as well and promises to round about soon with the final two issues. By the looks of things, we are going to get a Cyclops series spinning off of this story arc in the very near future.

Rogue Trooper #1
Sci-Fi mixed with war, this new series looks like it may be an interesting grab.
“Nu-Earth, just another planet ravaged by a galaxy-wide war, its atmosphere poisoned by chemical weapons. Created to fight in such conditions were the G.I.s – genetically engineered infantrymen. But now only one remains, the man known as… Rogue Trooper. IDW is proud to re-introduce Rogue Trooper in this all-new series!”

Magneto #1
The wait is over and Magneto’s new series finally hits the shelf this week with four different covers. This is going to be a must have series for the fans of the master of magnetism.
“Once the deadliest, most feared mutant mastermind on the planet, MAGNETO is no longer the man he once was. After falling in with Cyclops and the X-Men, Erik Lehnsherr became just one more pawn in another man’s war. But now, determined to fight the war for mutantkind’s survival on his own terms, Magneto sets out to regain what he’s lost… and show the world exactly why it should tremble at the sound of his name. Magneto will safeguard the future of the mutant race by hunting down each and every threat that would see his kind extinguished–and bloody his hands that they may never be a threat again.”
Moon Knight #1
Running right behind the shadows of the Magneto series but not to be missed, Moonknight launches a new series as well this week.
“Marc Spector is Moon Knight!… Or is he? It’s hard to tell these days, especially when New York’s wildest vigilante protects the street with two-fisted justice and three–that’s right, count ’em–different personalities! But even with the mystical force of Khonshu fueling his crusade, how does the night’s greatest detective save a city that’s as twisted as he is? The road to victory is going to hurt. A lot. Marvel’s most mind-bending adventure begins NOW as Moon Knight sleuths his way to the rotten core of New York’s most bizarre mysteries!”
Wolverine and the X-Men #1
Wait, didn’t this series just end last week? Told you they wouldn’t be gone for long. Marvel loves their reboots during the Marvel Now campaign.
“WELCOME TO THE JEAN GREY SCHOOL OF HIGHER LEARNING! The ALL NEW MARVEL NOW smash hit series schools with Jason Latour (WINTER SOLDIER) and Mahmud Asrar (X-MEN) leading the charge with drama, action and homework(?)! World-famous X-Men Wolverine, Storm, and a star-studded faculty must educate the next generation all-powerful, but inexperienced mutants! But with their own lives steeped in deadly enemies and personal crises, how can the X-Men guide and educate–let alone defend–the school? At the Jean Grey School, you never know who will enroll…or who will lead the class! And what mysterious organization waits in the shadows to destroy Wolverine’s mutant sanctuary?
