On The Rack – March 12, 2014March 11, 2014
If you’re in Toronto, then the chances are you probably had a chance to get to Toronto Comicon this weekend. With lots of great artists from the industry and vendors to go bin diving, I’m willing to bet it was a great weekend for the comic fans out there. Now that we are back home from the weekend, it’s time to look towards what’s new this week.
Last week, Forever Evil took us deeper in the 7 part mini series and brought us one of the best issues yet. I wont spoil anything, but if you haven’t been reading this series, you should look into picking it up when you hit the shops this week. While we wait for that to wrap up, here’s a look at what’s On The Rack this week.
Returning #1 (of 4)
“It’s 2022, and some people who have had Near Death Experiences have come back ‘changed.’ They exhibit extreme behavioral changes, becoming increasingly paranoid and violent, and no one knows why. People who have had NDE’s fall immediately under suspicion, and in some cases, are murdered by justice seeking vigilantes. It is in this world where Beth, a quiet high school student with a bright future, will learn just how quickly friends and family will turn on her when she has the bad luck of surviving the worst night of her life… “
Sons Of Anarchy #7
First story arc is done but the comic has evolved into an ongoing series. The SOA fans out there should be extremely happy to find that we are going to fill the long wait between seasons with monthly comics.
“The town of Charming is more dangerous than ever in the wake of Damon Pope’s death, and when two prospects are killed in what was supposed to be a regular ride of guns, Jax must find a way to bring order in a more chaotic world that’s more dangerous than ever.”
Dark Horse Comics
The Star Wars #6
Lucas’ original script continues this week in the eighth issue of the mini series. Find out what a very different Star Wars could have looked like.
