Did Magneto have something to do with the death of the 35th President of the United States?

Just days after memorial articles have flooded the news, a viral site called The Bent Bullet went live with an article implicating Magneto as JFK’s assassin, having altered the bullet fired by Lee Harvey Oswald to strike the President, killing him.

On the site you can read an article that even includes excerpts from Magneto’s trial where it seems like he implicates one of his own;

“I did not shoot your president,” he told the jury, “But I know who did, and you’ll never find her. She has a way of hiding in plain sight.”

It sounds like Magneto was there to try and stop the assassination of the president, not aide it, and it also sounds like someone was pretending to be Lee Harvey Oswald, leading us to think that maybe the assassin was a former ally with shapeshifting abilities, someone like Mystique.
