James Gunn Announces Guardians of the Galaxy Soundtrack

Whenever you see the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer, you wait for that part. You know the one I’m talking about. Following the huge montage of action sequences, you hear it. “Hooked on A Feeling” starts playing — and then it gets stuck in your head all day but you can’t help but remember it’s for the incredible film that’ll be hitting theatres on August 1st. Most of the time, you are probably so pumped for the movie that you aren’t even mad. Now, director James Gunn has released the “Awesome Mix Volume One” on his Facebook stating:

NOTE this is not the entirety of the Mixed Tape that Peter Quill listens to, the one that I gave to Chris Pratt that he listened to endlessly before the movie started. That is a longer list, that includes these songs, among others. I’ll release that full list closer to the release of them film
