GTA V Online Crime Report: Why Is Pink Really Expensive?

This weeks GTA V Online Crime Report. See what’s going down in Los Santos.

Following up on last week’sGeek Chic Elite’s GTA V Online Crime Report, Rockstar is currently working on removing large sums of money from people’s accounts. They’ve informed legit gamers who play GTA online via their newswire, “Player’s who have received large sums of GTA$, but not engaged in any game manipulating through exploits can rest assured they have nothing to fear.” Players who were gifted or collected a large bounty will have their GTA$ removed once their latest fix is in place. The money glitch has really affected Rockstar and some player’s enjoyment of Grand Theft Auto 5 online.

Players are encouraged to snitch on modders, but the idea of Los Santos snitches is highly ironic – given the game is about the gangster life. If it works to weed out people modding their experience – then that’s awesome. However, I suspect snitching will also be used against good gamers.

Los Santos Custom – Why Is Pink Really Expensive?

A serious carjacking crime spree resulted in me respraying many Los Santos vehicles pink. If you see a pink car while playing – that’s me. One of the most expensive colors available at Los Santos Custom is pink. The color pink runs $13,750 while the color black is only $420. In a game filled with players who have serious homophobic and misogynists issues – respraying a vehicle pink is a bold statement. I encountered actual hate language – not funny or crass, but alarming words of Klu Klux Klan hate. Non gamers have long accused Rockstar of fueling this hatred, which makes me casually wonder, ‘why is pink really expensive?’

Snowing In Los Santos

People woke up to a very snowy Los Santos on Christmas Day and an opportunity to dress like a crazed Santa. Many drivers couldn’t cope as they spun out in the slippery mess the city became. I run around Los Santos to escape the real snow outside and didn’t expect nor want to encounter it while playing GTA online.

Aussie Sibling Rivalry

An actual fight broke out this week when two siblings (a brother and sister from Australia) began to argue over their headsets. I’ve been playing with plenty of Australians and accidentally started a shouting match that Mom had to be called in to break up. The two were shooting at each other and I took sides by killing the stronger player – the brother. The session was fun until they began arguing over their headsets about kills.

“Mom [name removed] is playing with a guy who keeps killing me.”

“Mom [name removed] is always killing me when I play. [Name removed] hasn’t put out the garbage.”

Are You A Fat Greasy American?

No, I’m skinny white guy from Canada. After getting blown up really good, I was then accused of being American by an Australian. He actually said after unloading a clip in my ass, “Are you a fat greasy American?” It was somewhat humorous, but he got scolded for not accepting other country’s cultures and a lesson on the differences of Canada and America. “Which way does your toilet flush, Australian?” Is much better than saying Yippee Kay Ay.

You’re Cool As Fuck Bro.

Currently, I am still randomly generating to play GTA online. It remains a very fun experience and I continue not to accept any friend requests. This may change, but for now my ‘Doctor Who’ idea of appearing in random places is exceedingly fun, especially when you get compliments like “You’re cool as fuck bro.” Running around Los Santos with more experienced players has been a great learning experience. I’ve learned a great deal about the Los Santos underground by chilling with players who have oodles of more hours than I do.
