Who doesn’t enjoy a movie full of love, revenge, and puppets?

Writer/director Mirra Foulkes (in her feature film directorial debut) turns and twists the traditional story of a famous 17th-century puppet show on its head and brings a darkly comic and female-driven revenge story to life. The film stars MIA WASIKOWSKA (Alice in Wonderland, Crimson Peak) and DAMON HERRIMAN (The Nightingale, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood)

Synopsis:

In the town of Seaside, nowhere near the sea, puppeteers Judy and Punch are trying to resurrect their marionette show. The show is a hit due to Judy’s superior puppeteering but Punch’s driving ambition leads to a tragedy that Judy must avenge.
