Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus? A Bioshock Infinite Trailer
January 31, 2013In one of the most interesting marketing campaigns for a video game I think I’ve ever seen, Alistar Bloom narrates a “Truth From Legend” segment on Columbia, a city suspended in the air by giant blimps and balloons meant to symbolize the ideas of exceptionalism. Lead designer Ken Levine has stated that the ending of Bioshock: Infinite is “like nothing you’ve ever experienced in a video game before”, and the game has already won awards including “Best of Show”, “Best PC Game”, “Best Original Game” and “Best Action/Adventure Game” at the Game Critics Awards during it’s pre-release. The game will officially be for sale March 26th, 2013 and I for one can’t wait to get my hands on it.
