Defeat Was Never So Much Fun – Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Escape Room in Toronto

Recently, we had the chance to check out the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Escape Room here in Toronto, helping to celebrate the launch of the game in a fun and interesting way. We were able to get a sneak peek at the set-up the day before it was open for free to the general public.

Set up for 16 players per game, 4 teams, multiple immersive rooms with puzzles, but only one team gets to the Blackout Room. You were able to come alone and join a team or bring your own squad and see how you do head to head. You can see re-creations of some of the most iconic maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 come to life in themed rooms.

Put together by a very knowledgeable team that knows their audience, the Escape room was a great way to get in the mood for the upcoming game. The best thing about this is that you don’t have to be a hardcore player to enjoy the Escape Room experience. Granted, the five-minute countdown and loud background music make things a little tense but then again, you wouldn’t want things too easy, now would you? I crashed and burned hard but enjoyed the experience, even watching another team survive the Blackout Room to claim victory.

Overview: Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4: Black Ops is back! Featuring gritty, tactical, grounded, fluid Multiplayer combat; the biggest Zombies offering ever with three full undead adventures at launch; and Blackout, where the Black Ops universe and signature Call of Duty combat come to life on the largest map in Call of Duty history, all in one massive battle royale experience that features characters, locations, and weapons from the series.

Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4 is being published by Activision and developed by Treyarch with additional development support from Raven Software, and PC development with Beenox. For more information and the latest intel check out:
