The newest adaptation of the story of Superman is here for us to see. This time it will star Henry Cavill (Immortals) and Amy Adams (The Fighter). It is directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen).  General Zod (Michael Shannon) has come to earth to claim Superman, and if the world does not give him up there will be grave consequences.
