Wonder Woman Day Announced to Launch Niagara Falls Comic Con!

NIAGARA FALLS COMIC CON AND NIAGARA PARKS COMMISSION CELEBRATE UPCOMING FILM WITH FIREWORK DISPLAY, BUILDING PROJECTION, AND EXCLUSIVE FAN EXPERIENCE! 

TORONTO, CANADA, May 23, 2017 – Yesterday evening, two giant sparkling “W” s shot high above Niagara Falls among bursts of red, blue and gold colors during the popular Victoria Day Firework celebration. The themed fireworks were part of an announcement from the Niagara Falls Comic Con (NFCC) dedicating the opening day of their upcoming convention to the highly anticipated film Wonder Woman. A massive 21 story image projected on the Oakes Hotel complimented the display promoting the event.

As the convention and film share the same opening day, the NFCC is supporting the iconic superhero’s solo theatrical debut with an exclusive fan experience. On Friday, June 2nd, fans of Wonder Woman and the genre community are invited to join the NFCC and City delegates at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls for a dedicated march and ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a complimentary advance screening. Fans are encouraged to show their love for the character by dressing in her costume or in her colors for the chance to win exclusive prizes. Later that evening, the Niagara Parks Commission will dedicate their popular fireworks celebration to the film using only her colors and shooting giant “W” s throughout. The excitement continues over the weekend at the convention with a dedicated area where fans can create their own inspired gauntlets and have the chance to win a replica tiara from the film’s production.
