 Monday, November 18th 2013, NASA launched the unmanned explorer MAVEN (Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution) for it’s 10 month long journey to the surface of Mars. MAVEN is to learn more about why Mars’ surface has become so dry and desolate. Will they find life? Water? Arnold Schwarzenegger gasping for life on the surface? This Friday (November 22nd) Microsoft officially releases its next gen console, the Xbox One. Can the Obe live up to it’s claim to being the ultimate entertainment solution for your living room, or will past controversy regarding unpopular features (including the 24 hour online check-in) be the final straw?

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, DOCTOR!

This Saturday (November 23rd), thousands and thousands will be glued to their TV screens and computer monitors to witness the highly anticipated 50th anniversary special for Doctor Who, “The Day of the Doctor”, featuring the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith), the return of the 10th Doctor (David Tennant), and the mystery “Doctor” from the past (John Hurt). How is he tied to the Doctors lengthy past? Will he help or hinder the 10th and 11th against the Daleks?
