Watch the Opening Battle Scene from X-Men: Days of Future Past

A clip that debuted at the MTV Movie Awards shows us a group of mutants under attack.

The newest trailer won’t launch until tomorrow, Tuesday April 15th, but last night at the MTV Movie Awards, everyone was treated to a one minute clip featuring surviving mutants Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page), Colossus (Daniel Cudmore), Sunspot (Adan Canto), Bishop (Omar Sy), Blink (Fan Bing-Bing), Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) and Warpath (Booboo Stewart).

The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.

The film is set to be released on May 23, 2014.
