The Walking Dead Renewed for Season 10

Even with viewership falling below that of season eight, The Walking Dead had been renewed for a tenth season.

It should be noted that even with its viewership dropping almost 40 percent from last year’s average, it still draws about 5.2 million people per episode. That still leads all AMC shows and is nearly double the viewers of the spinoff Fear the Walking Dead.

Losing Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) seemed like a death knell for the show but it seems to have found it’s groove again, thanks in no small part to The Whisperers.
