The Nexus 4 is Now Available on Google Play
January 29, 2013Okay Google fanboys (and of course gals), HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS! The LG Nexus 4 dropped today on Google Play at a price of $359.00 USD for the 16gb version and $309.00 USD for the 8gb version. Sporting the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, new wireless technology, and rocking brand new camera tech for a cellphone, people are going nuts.
So you may ask yourself why you should even care about this Android phone since the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 are still serious phones that pack a lot into one device. The main reason for me is that this phone is almost 100% wireless. When I mention the wireless I don’t just mean being able to share information over the means of using cloud storage, but this phone can even charge wirelessly with the help of a charging mat. The battery is a 2,100 mAh Lithium polymer battery that can carry a charge for up to 11+ hours of standard usage (music, video and web browsing).
The N4 is also carrying some pretty serious hardware to ensure all your latest apps open and run flawlessly. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core chip, 2 GB ram, 16 gig internal storage, a slimport HDMI, and all your other standards such as wi-fi, bluetooth and a USB slot as well. Also within this phone is the capability to take pictures and HDMI video; LG has included an 8 MP camera that can take 360 degree panoramic pictures and time lapse video.
If I didn’t already have a love affair with my Galaxy S3 you would definitely see me placing my order for this smartphone along with the many others that already have.
