An old enemy pops up in the latest Deadpool/Wolverine Trailer

Fans knew that Deadpool and Wolverine was going to bring back some familiar faces…and we’ve finally got a glimpse of a long-rumoured, but now confirmed appearance: Tyler Mane as Sabretooth.

Making his debut nearly 25 years ago in X-Men (which arguably kicked off the renaissance for superhero films…yes, I know Blade gave the studios confidence to make X-Men, but in a lot of ways…anyway, nevermind) Tyler Mane played the monosyllabic villain in a more or less iconic fashion.

Sure he didn’t DO much as Sabretooth…or say much, for that matter, but damn if he didn’t look cool.

And in the new teaser, he gets a pretty cool line.

I just hope the interaction lives up to the hype in my soul.
