The Mutant and Proud Campaign

Help out a great cause and be entered to win an amazing prize: A Dr. Doom replica headpiece!

At the X-Men of Toronto we are starting a “Mutant and Proud” campaign. As you may have noticed with us, we always appear as the same characters when we attend or run events – this is because we all closely identify with the character we choose to portray. Through this campaign we’re aiming to give you insight on why we identify with them so strongly. Each member will have their own print with a personal phrase. We have not taken any Marvel based quotes, but rather dug within ourselves to share with you the inspirations we feel!

This campaign is being run to support TOMA Foundation for Burned Children. (http://www.fondtomafound.org/) The full collection of 8 prints will slowly be released between now and Fan Expo at the end of August. At Fan Expo all of these prints will be available for sale at The Geek Chic Elite booth on Saturday. But wait – there’s more!

Each print sale comes with raffle tickets, all of which will be entered in a draw to win a Limited Edition Dr. Doom replica headpiece complete with mask and cowl (kitten not included). The piece has a certificate of authenticity.

-$5 for 3 raffle tickets, includes 1 postcard-size Mutant and Proud print
-$10 for 5 raffle tickets, includes 1 8”x11” size Mutant and Proud print

Collect all 8 postcard sized prints and recieve an extra 5 raffle tickets! Winner will be announced on the X-Men of Toronto page after Fan Expo weekend. Thus far only two prints have been released, but check in at the XMOT Facebook page for more prints coming soon!
