Next Gen Halo Slated for 2014 Release

Just when Halo fans didn’t think it could get much better (like Steven Spielberg producing a live-action Halo television show anyone?), Microsoft treated fans with some information about the game, as well as screenshots and a teaser trailer at the E3 convention, all which can be seen below.

The company confirmed that the next-gen Halo game will be released on the new Xbox One console sometime in 2014 and will be the first in it’s franchise to run at 60fps. The announcement has seemed to calm the nerves of big Halo fans who were worried that the game was going to show up in less traditional gaming outlets (such as the Halo: Spartan Assault release on the windows 8 phone).

But is Halo big enough to save the sinking ship that is the Xbox One?
