There are some very exciting and fun games coming out this Spring and you will regret not picking at least one of them up.

Dark Souls III – April 12th, 2016

This is an obvious PC pickup that any fan of the series will option to pick up as soon as possible. The graphics in this game are stunning and the gameplay has been promised to be the most brutal to date. If you have a decent PC you will be able to run this at 60 fps and not miss a second on a random skeleton pushing you off a ledge. Just remember though that controllers cost money, each one you break you will need to replace.

Overwatch – May 24th, 2016

The latest (and recently controversial) game release by megastars Blizzard Entertainment will be release this May 24th, and will be a ton of fun to play. The beta has been out for a while and those who have been able to play it have loved it. If you are unfamiliar with what this game actually is, its a first person shooter MOBA. Blizzard is great at bringing a niche game and making it accessible to everyone, and this game has managed to do just that. This game is also shaping up to be huge on the Esport scene as well, so look forward to you favourite teams sporting Overwatch Teams very soon.

Total War: Warhammer – May 2016

Two amazing things have finally merged together, the brilliance and strategy of a Total War game, and the great character design and world of Warhammer. In this upcoming release you will get the chance to play out some of the best Warhammer battles strategically and large scale on your PC. Some gameplay videos are out there of this game and it looks like a lot of fun.

DOOM – May 13, 2016

A classic has been remade for the current generation of PC’s and it looks like a masterpiece. It has updated graphics, a ton of new weapons, and a multiplayer system that will bring us back to the days of fragging noob garbage in Quake II. The game will see a console release, but if you really are a fan of the series, you will get it on PC since that is where the game started and it was responsible for the first person genre we know today. It was one of the biggest announcements of last year and will be hitting the PC market this May.

The Banner Saga 2 – April 19th, 2016

The Banner Saga was regarded as one of the best indie games of 2014 and it is great to see the followup here so soon. Banner Saga 2 will continue as an RPG with great turn based combat elements and a magical soundtrack to back it up. If you are an indie game fan, and an old school turn based RPG fan that wishes that there were more FInal Fantasy Tactics games, this is the game for you.
