Cosplay Top Ten: Pacific Rim

Cosplay Top Ten: Pacific Rim

July 4, 2014 12 By Steph Mernagh

In the inaugural article of “Cosplay Top 10”, we take a look at our ten favorites from the Guillermo del Toro film, Pacific Rim.

It was a film that generated a lot of buzz when the first images and trailer appeared. Guillermo del Toro’s film, Pacific Rim seemed to promise three things: monsters, robots and fighting, and it wasn’t a disappointment. The film became a summer box office success; so much so that del Toro recently announced that Pacific Rim 2 would be hitting theatres April 7, 2017. In celebration of the news, we’ve scoured the internet for our favorite cosplayers paying homage to the first film through their craft of costume building and design, and we found some fantastic stuff! Below are our ten favorites (in no particular order) from across the web!

If you like what you see, artists and photographers have links when applicable so you can follow their work. Sometimes the information on the artist or photographer was unobtainable, but if you recognize a cosplayer or a photo, please let us know in the comments so we can provide proper credit!
